Our visa applications were received at the Indian Consulate in Chicago yesterday (according to UPS). This afternoon, we got a call that #1- my husband forgot to sign his app, so needs to send in a signature page, and #2- because of his profession (pastor) he needs to fill out a form saying that he will not "engage myself in missionary activities or propaganda campaigns." He got the profession form via e-mail and will send out the signature page from his visa application and the profession form tomorrow.
We are still waiting for confirmation of travel dates.

Hello Amy and Shawn! This is Natalie writing - met you tonight at the pizza place. :) I was just browsing your blog a little more tonight. I went back to 2007 when you first mentioned Sweeti. It brought tears to my eyes to read about how God has brought about the chance for you to be parents to this little girl. Your family will be in our prayers as you continue the process. We'd love to meet her some time when she is home, as well as "talk adoption" with you! It is a thing very dear to us, and we pray that some day God will lead us to adopting a couple children.
